An opportunity for representatives from local churches to hear first-hand what Christian agencies are doing in and around Woking.

Whether you are working at grassroots level or more strategically, the event aims to:
- Raise awareness of the work being undertaken by local Christian agencies;
- Build relationships and encourage joint working between churches and the Christian agencies;
- Highlight untapped resources that will link with and support your church in reaching out into the community;
- Highlight opportunities for your church members to serve and flourish;
- Facilitate the Christian community in Woking to work together to bless our town.

Working to encourage and support a Christian presence in primary and secondary schools in and around Woking. Two professional schools workers help lead assemblies, provide RE/PHSE lesson support, mentoring and pastoral support to staff. More Info >>

South Woking Community Food Bank
Delivering food parcels to needy people in the South Woking area (Westfield, Kingfield & Old Woking).
Daily coffee shop 10-12pm. Community visiting - no agenda - but also
specific visits &/or befriending to those in need. Supply of
clothing/bric-a-brac/soft furnishings/ toiletries. Food bank outlet.
Offer a listening ear to all, help with completion of forms, signpost to
other agencies. Campaign on social justice issues, standing alongside

The Contact Centre offers a safe, friendly, and neutral environment in Woking, where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents and sometimes with other family members. More Info >>

We are a team of volunteers who serve Woking Centre on Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm to 4am, providing care and support to those who are vulnerable as a result or alcohol, drugs, abuse, etc. More Info >>

House refurbishments and make-overs for families in need, using and empowering volunteers on the margins of society.
east to west provide relational support work to young people through three projects: Relational Support Work in Secondary Schools in North Surrey and First Schools in RBWM; Community Support Work based in North West Surrey; and the Supported Lodgings Project supporting 16-19 year olds at risk of homelessness. We house them in a host family home for up to 2 years, while they learn skills to live independently in the future. More Info >>

The Communities Engagement Team is part of the Diocese of Guildford covering most of Surrey and North East Hants. The Health & Wellbeing Adviser is able to give presentations & training on a range of topics inc. Mental Health, Addiction and Domestic Abuse to any faith or voluntary organisation.
